I handcrafted this pen by stabilizing the Shawshank wood before I to turn it down to size.  This wood came from the tree that was in the Shawshank movie where the box was buried by Andy for Red to find.  The tree was taken down in a storm and I was able to acquire some of the wood when it was trimmed up. The pen comes with a Certificate of Authentication.  The wood is then hand turned then polished to a high shine on my lathe. The pen is dressed with  Decor Rose Gold  accents to bring out the beauty of the wood. The pen comes with a Schmidt refill to ensure a smooth writing experience without skipping. All my pens come with a leather pouch to protect the beauty of the pen.
