The segments are fitted together with precision, then cured over 24 hrs.The pen has a stainless steel insert and delrin insert in the cap. It has triple start threads with a #6 bock nib that has been tuned. It has been turned and polished by hand on the lathe. The wood has been to sealed to protect it. It is a large and lengthy pen for a fountain pen. It comes with a pen sleeve to protect it.
