This pen is made with wood that came from a Jack Daniels barrel. It was cut and stablized before it was turned down. It turned down to size so it would look good with this style of pen. The wood has slight sealer on it but you can feel the wood when you write with it. It has a Parker style refill which I use Schmidt made refills. It comes with leather sleeve for protection.
